Fun activities you’ll want to try with your kids this summer!

The summer is a great time to let our kids explore, use their imagination, and have some extra fun we might not have time for during the school year.

We’ve rounded up a few fun activities to try out with your kiddos this summer! Let us know when you try them out!

Edible Finger Paint

  • 4Tbs cornstarch
  • cold water
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • food coloring

100 Books of Summer

  • page with 100 boxes or circles
  • stickers

When your child reads a book they can put a sticker on the chart! Finish the chart and they get a prize! Download our free printable here!

Sidewalk Puffy Paint

  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 cup salt
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • food coloring
  • plastic squirt bottles

Summer Memories Book

  • any size paper
  • 2 pieces of string
  • hole punch
  • crayons

Have your children each take a piece of paper and draw a picture of what they did that day or what they loved about the day. After they’re done, hole punch the top and bottom and add them on the string to make a book they can flip through. It will be fun to see what was special to each child from the day! (This is great for during dinner-prep, before bedtime, or when they need rest time during the day.)
